American Century Championship Fantasy Golf Contest

Official Rules

June 22, 2023 — July 16, 2023

PRELIMINARY INFORMATION: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited. The American Century Championship Fantasy Golf Contest (the "Contest") will begin on approximately June 22, 2023 at 9:00 A.M. PT and will end on July 16, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. PT ("Contest Period"). All times for the Contest and these Rules are in Pacific Time ("PT"). Odds of winning depend upon the score of each Entrant (as described below) and the number of eligible Entries (as defined below) received. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to permanent, legal United States residents who are physically residing in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands and other United States territories), and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the start of the Contest Period. An individual who creates or attempts to create an Eligible Entry, as defined below, is an “Entrant.” Officers, directors, and employees of Sponsor (as defined below), members of these persons' immediate families (spouses and/or parents, children, and siblings, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or persons living in the same households as these persons (whether or not related thereto) are not eligible to enter or win the Contest. Golfers in the Tournament may submit an Eligible Entry, but they may neither be a Daily Winner or an Overall Winner, nor may they win any of the Prizes, as all such capitalized terms are defined below. Sponsors of the Contest include American Century Companies, Inc., 4500 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64111 ("Sponsor"), and its subsidiaries and affiliate companies, and its respective administrative, advertising, and promotion agencies, and any other entity

involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Contest (collectively, “Sponsors”).

TO ENTER: To create an Eligible Entry (as defined below), you will be required to create a fantasy golf team according to the following requirements and others that may be posted on accfantasygolf.com (“Fantasy Team”).

Requirements:

  • Only entries submitted on accfantasygolf.com (the “Website”) will be accepted. Participants will be required to enter their name and may also be required to provide an email and phone number to enter the Contest.

  • To create their Fantasy Team, each participant must select no more than five (5) golfers, one from each group, as further described and detailed on the Website.

  • Participants may only create one (1) Fantasy Team per person for each Official Round (1-3) of the American Century Championship Golf Tournament (the “Tournament”).

Participants can change their Fantasy Team daily by 11:59

P.M. the evening before each Official Round of the Tournament (“Daily Deadline”), or participants may leave their Fantasy Team unchanged. Whether a participant’s team is changed during the Tournament as described above or left unchanged, such team or teams will be considered one “Fantasy Team” for purposes of determining the one (1) Overall Winner, described below. Multiple entries received from any person beyond this limit will void all entries by such person.

  • Participants may create their Fantasy Team beginning at the start of the Contest Period, and they may change the members of their initial Fantasy Team up to 11:59 P.M. on July 13, 2023 (the “Team Deadline”). Fantasy Teams received after the Team Deadline will be considered for the Daily Winner

determination, described below, for the immediate next and any Official Round(s) of the Tournament occurring after a Daily Deadline. Entries must be received by the Team Deadline or Daily Deadline to be eligible for the Contest. Sponsors' computer shall be the official timekeeper for all matters related to this Contest. Any person found to have used multiple accounts to enter will be deemed ineligible and disqualified from the Contest.

  • Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means or by any means that subverts the entry process will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted.

A submission meeting the above Requirements will be considered an Eligible Entry for purposes of this Contest.

PERMISSIONS AND PRIVACY: Each Eligible Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) for Sponsors to use entrant's name (first name and last initial), city, state, likeness, image, and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval.

By submitting an Eligible Entry, you consent to be bound by the terms of our Privacy and Security Policy found at www.americancentury.com. We do not sell your information. Under this policy, however, we may from time to time use your personal information to contact you by phone, email or mail, and we may share personal information with other financial service companies in the American Century Investments corporate family and with others we retain to help us with our research efforts, mailings or other American Century Investments marketing or communications activities. Under this policy you may opt out from further communications. By entering this Contest, you expressly consent to the storing, sharing and using of their personal

information for these purposes and in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy, and accept and agree to abide by these privacy policies and terms of use. This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide the Sponsor or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of his/her personal information.

WINNERS AND SCORING: One (1) Contest winner will be determined for each day that an Official Round (1-3) of the American Century Championship Golf Tournament (the “Tournament”) takes place, currently scheduled for July 14, 15 and 16 of 2023 (each a “Daily Winner”), resulting in three (3) Daily Winners. Each Daily Winner will be determined based on the highest point total for golfers on their Fantasy Team based on the Scoring Schedule described below. In addition, one (1) overall Contest winner will be determined based on the highest cumulative point total from the three days Official Rounds (1-3) of the Tournament for golfers on their Fantasy Team based on the Scoring Schedule described below (the “Overall Winner”). Together, the Daily Winners and the Overall Winner are herein referred to as “Contest Winners”. An Entrant may only be a Contest Winner one (1) time. Therefore, if a previous Daily Winner (by having the highest score pursuant to the Scoring Schedule or being deemed the Daily Winner under this Winning and Scoring process) has the highest score on a later Tournament day or for the cumulative point total from all three days of the Tournament (thus becoming the Overall Winner), the second or succeeding highest scoring Entrant pursuant to the Scoring Schedule will be deemed to be the Daily Winner for the earlier or prior day.

In the event of a tie between any Fantasy Teams pursuant to the Scoring Schedule in the determination of any Daily Winner or Overall Winner, the tie will be broken according to the following, successive process:  (a) for a Daily Winner tie - the Entrant with an Eligible Entry who selected the number of points (or closest number of points) of the average Tournament player for that day, or for an Overall Winner tie – the Entrant with an Eligible Entry who selected the cumulative number of points (or closest cumulative number of points) of the average Tournament player for the overall Tournament, all calculated according to the Scoring Schedule; and (b) for a tie that continues to remain after (a) above, the tie will be broken by a random drawing by the Sponsor among all Eligible Entries with the same or equally close selected points for either the Daily Winner or Overall Winner determination.

Determinations of the Sponsors are final and binding with respect to all matters related to the Contest. Winning is subject to verification of eligibility. Contest Winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, and, except where prohibited, publicity release (collectively, "Contest Documents") within five (5) days of such notification. Noncompliance within this time period, with these Official Rules or the return of or inability to deliver any Prize (as defined below) or prize notification may result in disqualification and, at Sponsors' discretion, and time permitting, an alternate potential Contest Winner may be selected from among all Eligible Entries remaining based on the process outlined in this Winning and Scoring process, which would otherwise disregard the noncompliant Eligible Entry.

Sponsors may require and potential Contest Winners must be willing to voluntarily submit to and complete a background check as a condition of continued eligibility.

SCORING SCHEDULE: The Scoring Schedule used to determine points for each player on each day of the Tournament, which points will be summed for all the players within each Fantasy Team, and which will ultimately be used to determine the Winners in the Contest, as described above, is as follows:

Scoring Schedule - Modified Stableford Format converted to points

  • Double Eagle = 10 points

  • Hole in one = 8 points

  • Eagle = 6 points

  • Birdie = 3 points

  • Par = 1 point

  • Bogey = 0 points

  • Double Bogey = -2 points

The official score of the players and that used for this Contest will be the same as is used for the Tournament and which is posted on the Website and/or americancenturychampionship.com.

PRIZES: There will be three (3) daily prizes awarded ("Daily Prizes"), and one

(1) grand prize (“Grand Prize”, and, collectively, with the Daily Prizes, the “Prize” or “Prizes”). Each Daily Prize consists of a three (3) night stay at the 2024 American Century Championship for each Daily Winner plus one (1) guest. The Grand Prize consists of a three (3) nights-stay at the 2024 American Century Championship plus one (1) guest, and the ability to choose the qualified charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to whom the Sponsor donates TEN THOUSAND dollars ($10,000) (“Sponsor Donation”).

The Estimated Retail Value ("ERV") of the Daily Prize and the three-night stay at the 2024 American Century Championship portion of the Grand Prize is THREE THOUSAND dollars ($3,000). Actual Retail Value ("ARV") of the Prizes may vary. Any difference between ERV and ARV will not be awarded. If the Prize includes a trip, ARV may vary based on, among other things, availability, existing rates at time of booking, dates of travel, and point of departure. For any Prize with an ARV of six hundred dollars ($600) or more, Sponsors will furnish an Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 to the winners for the ARV of the Prize for the year in which the Prize was won. The recipient of the Sponsor Donation will be selected by the Overall Winner, but the Overall Winner will not receive any tax deduction or offset of relevant taxes or income on account of the Sponsor Donation. The Sponsors will retain that deduction or offset, if any. Please consult your tax advisor for questions about your personal tax situation.

All details of the Prizes will be determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute the Prize (or portion thereof) with a similar prize (or prize element) of comparable or greater value. All taxes and other expenses, costs, or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of the Prize are the sole responsibility of Winner. Prizes cannot be transferred by a winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only for the items detailed above, with no substitution of the Prize by a winner. If the Prize is unclaimed within a

reasonable time after notification from Sponsors, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion, it will be forfeited, and time permitting, an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries at Sponsors' sole discretion.

Winner must be able to travel July 11, 2024 through July 14, 2024 (or on such other dates designated by Sponsors). The trip awarded to the winners must be taken within dates provided by the Sponsors or the Prize will be forfeited. Travel arrangements must be made through Sponsors' agent, on a carrier of Sponsors' choice. Certain travel restrictions and black-out dates may apply.

Sponsors have the right in their sole discretion to substitute ground transportation for air transportation depending on the winner's place of residence. Each winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary, including the same departure date, destination and return date, and must have valid travel documents (e.g., valid government issued photo ID and/or passport) prior to departure, and failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the Prize. Sponsors will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Once travel commences, no unscheduled stopovers are permitted; if an unscheduled stopover occurs, full fare will be charged from stopover point for the remaining segments, including return, of the trip.

Sponsors are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay. Trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. All travel and lodging will be at the risk of the winners and guests. Each winner is solely responsible for all expenses and costs associated with acceptance and/or use of the Prize not specifically stated herein as being awarded, including, without limitation any and all taxes and other expenses, costs, or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of Prize, travel insurance, ground transportation (other than as described above), security and airport fees, taxes, insurance, gasoline, meals, gratuities, and souvenirs. Sponsors shall have the right, but not the obligation, to make any deductions and withholdings that Sponsors deem necessary or desirable under applicable federal, state and local tax laws, rules, regulations, codes or ordinances.

Sponsors shall have no responsibility or liability for cancellations, delays, or any other change by any company or person providing any element of the

Prizes, and are not responsible or liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence thereof. Date and/or time of the 2024 American Century Championship is subject to change. American Century Championship is subject to cancellation. If Winner chooses to attend the American Century Championship with fewer than one (1), or no, guests, the remaining elements of Prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsors' Prize obligation to Winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. Guests, if any, may be required to execute and return releases of liability and, except where prohibited, publicity releases (collectively, "Guest Documents"), which must be returned with the Contest Documents, or guest portion of the Prize will be forfeited. If any guest is a minor, the winner must be such minor's parent or legal guardian and must execute and return the Guest Documents on such minor's behalf.

CONDITIONS: By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees for entrant and for entrant's heirs, executors, and administrators (a) to release and hold harmless Sponsors, and each of their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, "Released Parties") from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such entrant's participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Prize or any portion thereof (including any travel related thereto); (b) to indemnify Released Parties from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Contest and to hereby acknowledge that Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prize, including express warranties provided exclusively by prize supplier that are sent along with the Prize; (c) if selected as a winner, to the posting of such entrant's name on the Website or any similar website belonging to the Sponsors and the use by Released Parties of such name, voice, image, and/or likeness for publicity, promotional, and advertising purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval, and, upon request, to the giving of consent, in writing, to such use; and (d) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error therein or in the Contest itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsors, which are binding and

Sponsors reserve the right to exclude anyone convicted of a crime (other than moving violations of a misdemeanor type that did not involve personal injury, drugs, or alcohol). At Sponsor's request, potential winners must be willing to sign an affidavit attesting that such entrant meets all of the foregoing eligibility requirements and possibly undergo a background check conducted by Sponsor.

ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsors reserve the right to permanently disqualify from any promotion any person they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Contest or the operation thereof is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsors, who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The failure of Sponsors to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsors (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or other "force majeure" event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.

Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to entrants' or to any other person's computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with the Contest. Released Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical, or computer failures of any kind; for inaccurate transcription of entry information; for errors in any promotional or marketing materials or in these Official Rules; for any human or electronic error; or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, damaged, or returned.

Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest or any element thereof (including, without limitation, these Official Rules) without notice in any manner and for any reason (including, without limitation, in the event of any unanticipated occurrence that is not fully addressed in these Official Rules).

In the event of cancellation, modification, or suspension, the Sponsors reserve the right to select a winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non- suspect entries received prior to the time of the event warranting such cancellation, modification, or suspension, all at Sponsor’s sole discretion. In addition, in the event of any withdrawal, cancellation or injury of any player in the Tournament, the Sponsors reserve the right to select a winner by considering the score of the Fantasy Team without any points from the withdrawn, cancelled or injured player(s), all at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Notice of such cancellation, modification, suspension, withdrawal or injury will be posted on the Website. Sponsors may prohibit any entrant or potential entrant from participating in the Contest, if such entrant or potential entrant shows a disregard for these Official Rules; acts with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, Sponsors, or Sponsors' agents or representatives; or behaves in any other disruptive manner (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion). Sponsors reserve the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest.

DISPUTES: The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflicts of law and shall inure to the benefit of Sponsors’ successors and assigns, whether by merger, consolidation, or otherwise.
